Commercial hydro jetting in Irvine

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the inside of a drain or sewer line. It removes what a cable leaves behind: grease, soap scum, sediment and root fibers on the pipe wall.

When jetting beats snaking

Use a cable when a line is blocked by something soft and one-off. Use jetting when a line clogs repeatedly, when grease has built up over months, or when sediment keeps narrowing the pipe. Restaurants, bakeries and food halls are the usual jetting customers because grease is a daily input.

Shared lines in planned districts

Irvine's business districts share utility corridors and sewer laterals, so one blocked line can affect more than one tenant. A scope and a jetting pass from the cleanout that reaches the shared run is often the cleanest fix.

What we do on a jetting visit

We scope the line to see the blockage, set the nozzle and pressure for the pipe material, jet from the cleanout toward the main, and recheck flow. If the camera shows a broken or collapsed section, we stop and tell you, because jetting a damaged pipe makes things worse.

Signs it is time to call

  • The same line has been snaked more than once this year
  • Grease builds up in kitchen or interceptor lines
  • Floor drains smell or drain slowly
  • A shared lateral backs up into more than one tenant
  • A landlord asks for a record of line cleaning

What happens when you call

  1. Camera scope of the line to find the blockage and check pipe condition.
  2. High-pressure jetting from the cleanout, working toward the main.
  3. Flow check and a short written summary, with a recommended jetting interval.

Questions

Is hydro jetting safe for newer pipes?

Usually yes, but we still scope first so pressure and nozzle match the pipe material.

How often should a restaurant jet its lines?

It depends on volume and menu. Many kitchens start with a quarterly schedule and adjust after seeing how fast grease returns.

Do you offer emergency jetting?

Yes. Choose the emergency option on the estimate form for 24/7 emergency service.
